Policies & Etiqutte

 Studio Entry

Entry more than 5 minutes after a class has begun is strictly prohibited for everyone's safety.

  • Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of your class for check-in.

  • Ensure you are settled on your mat or machine by the time class starts.


Studio Etiquette

Kindly remove your shoes before stepping into the practice shala. It is a mark of respect.

  • We recommend bringing along a sweat towel (available at the reception) and water.

  • Our practice area is meant for silence. Please have conversations in the lobby or corridor and maintain a hushed tone.

  • Please review class descriptions to find a session that aligns with your fitness objectives.

  • If you need to leave early from a yoga class, depart before the Savasana pose. Ensure you give yourself a brief moment in the corpse pose before exiting.

  • Clean up after yourself, placing used props back in their places, and wiping any sweat if you attended a heated session and wiping down your pilates machines.


Studio Environment

Our studio temperature typically ranges from 80-95 degrees for Hot Yoga and Hot Mat Pilates. Check class specifics to see what suits you.


Age Restrictions:

  • Individuals 17 and older can practice without an adult's presence.

  • Those above 14 can join in when accompanied by a parent or guardian, unless it's a session tailored for specific age groups.


Payment & Check-in:

  • We accept both card payments and cash.

  • We encourage all patrons to link a credit card to their account for smooth, contactless check-ins.

Entry is allowed a maximum of 15 minutes before a class and we request you to exit within 15 minutes after a session.


In-Studio Behavior:

  • Embrace your sessions with an open mindset and heart.

  • All electronic devices are strictly not allowed in any of the practice areas.

  • Mobile phones are prohibited.

  • Smartwatch displays should be turned off to avoid disturbing others.

  • At Southern Soul, we deeply value kindness and respect towards both teachers and students. Any form of disrespect or perceived bullying will not be accepted or tolerated.


Cancellation & No Show Policy

Cancellations

Cancel at least 6 hours in advance to get the session credited back. Late cancellations will lead to the deduction of the class.

No-Shows

Class counts will be deducted. Unlimited package holders will be charged $10 for mat classes and $15 for ReForm45 class

Refunds & Extensions

Refunds aren't granted for classes, events, memberships, trips, or merchandise.

  • Class extensions aren't available.

  • Workshops, training sessions, and memberships are strictly non-transferable.


Memberships

Contracts are billed on a monthly recurring basis

Monthly contracts come with a two-month minimum period. A 30 day notice is essential for cancellations or changes, with no refunds for prior billings. Adjustments can be made via email.

  • If you wish to modify your billing date, please reach out to us.


Lost & Found

We aren't liable for items left behind. We hold onto found items for a week. If you believe you've left something, contact us at (423) 643-9642 or email.
